Whats the most that you'd pay?

Think it was €110 for Salobre in Puerto Rico. That included golf club rental, buggies etc. Wasn't worth it, a very average course.

EDIT: D'Oh! Sorry, thought it was "what's the most you've paid?"

Most I'd pay is around 60 euro.
On average I pay 30-40 euro.
There are alot of good value golf courses that can be played on open days very reasonably.

I'd pay over 100 for a really good course every now and again but otherwise around 60 or so is my average, 80 my limit. I'd vary it though, and if I have the time play midweek to get cheaper fees.

In general paying anything more than a euro a shot isn't on as far as I am concerned.

It was Barbados famous for chilling out and relaxing. He even climbed a coconut tree for us.

I wouldn't pay a green fee anywhere ever! Get to play enough courses in interclub competitions, scratch cups, national competitions and open days.

It's funny how some people wouldn't pay 100 bucks for a round of golf,
but then would go and spend 150 or 200 on a night out in town !!!

I'd much prefer the first option, at least I'd remember it !!!

Played Royal Portrush and Ballyliffin on consecutive days a couple of years back - think it cost £120 for RP and €100 for BL. An expensive weekend's golf!!

Having said that I've a freebie on the Palmer course on Friday afternoon (Metro Cup practice).

RP is steep alright. You must be wrong on Ballyliffen though madds. Glashedy only went up to €90 this year, it would have been about €65/€70 a couple of years ago. Only reason I'm correcting you is because I used to be a member there and I love the 2 courses - wouldn't want anyone getting put off playing there!:)

Think we played it on a Saturday Rigal, but Friday night was a heavy session so you're more than likely right on the price. Wind was blowing a gale but I really enjoyed the course (Glashedy) and would highly recommend it.

Well if one that you won counts, its definitely the Old Head which was a prize for a team I played on in a classic. 1000 per tee time, up to four players can play in one slot.
Its beautiful and very picturesque but I would not pay that much to play a golf course unless I won it.

Would pay up to €100 if it were somewhere special.

I paid 295 euro to play Old Head back in October. Very expensive i know but i knew i wouldnt be down in Cork again for some time and it was a once off. Spectacular course.
Next highest green fee i paid was 80 euro at the PGA National Ireland. The course is worth double that but then again it was a winter rate.
I usually pay between 25 and 50 bucks most of the time.
