Making a pump?

    Anyone know if its possible to make a pump from a nitro engine? I mean to suck the likes of water or even engine oil up.

    Suppose so. You'd need a special gearbox though because the pump needs torque not rpm's.

    i have the traxxas ez start. Why?
    Ah use it for work. If there is any water around the cylinders before you take out the spark plugs all I have is this stupid thing that you squeeze and suck it takes ages. Also the same from brake fluid level and engine oil.

    Suck up what you can with the "Stupid Thing" and then give it a blast of the airhose :D

    Thats what I do but the sucky yoke takes ages:(
    If I block up the exhaust and put a pipe were the plug goes and one at the carburettor?

    Window washer motor/nitro fuel pump with battery attached?

    Then blow it out with the air hose...
