    Been looking for these for ages, but anything I've seen in bricks and mortar places has been ~€15 for one wiimote charging stand with no battery. This is a bargain!

    I got one of these from Deal Extreme (I think it was the one yknaa mentioned) and I have to say it's disappointing.

    Takes forever to charge up the batteries and they tend to run down even when you're not using them. I also broke one of the battery packs because I couldn't get it out of the wiimote... had to snap the thing just to take it out - thankfully the wiimote was fine.

    In short, approach with caution! I'd probably pay the bit extra and get a MadCatz one or something like that.

    Got that one a few weeks back and as flogen says the recharging does take a long time. Also the leds are blinding but all in all it suits me grand for around €11 as I don't play the Wii that often.

    Whats the difference? Other than looks and price? Does the same thing (charges 2 remotes) and comes with 2 battery packs.

    The first one linked to says you can charge the remote with the strap on. One of the comments on the blue light one says you have to take the strap off. Who knows? With all Deal Extreme things you cant expect perfection considering what you're paying.

    You don't need to take the strap off but if you have the Wii condom on it you'll need to remove it or it won't fit in the charger.
