Loading POI's onto Garmin

My sis recently bought a Garmin (250W) I think, even though I tried to talk her into getting a TomTom. Anyhow, she's off to Spain soon and I wanted to load some POI's onto it yesterday the same way I would put them onto a TT, by dragging & dropping. But I couldn't figure out how to do it. My sis recently bought a Garmin (250W) I think, even though I tried to talk her into getting a TomTom.

Anyhow, she's off to Spain soon and I wanted to load some POI's onto it yesterday the same way I would put them onto a TT, by dragging & dropping. But I couldn't figure out how to do it.

Is it possible on the Garmins to do this? How do you load custom POI's?
