I have 5 in my Windows Task Manager under "Processes".
1 is LOCAL SERVICE, 2 are NETWORK SERVICE, 2 are SYSTEM.

    Is this right??

I have a few .exe files there that don't look right, but no other doubles that I can see.

Thats about right, IIRC. But if you have any worries you should follow the sticky above.

I tried using the sticky before, but ATF-Cleaner just freezes on me.

Thanks for the reply, as long as it isn't malware masquerading as something else.

It is still a possibility. Are any of the processes showing the name in all caps? You can still run DSS and post the logs.

It's impossible to tell if this is malware from your description

What are the name of these dodgy exe files ? Run DSS if you have problems
