hidden vowels

    Google is refusing to offer the answer to this one for me.

    What is the term as gaeilge for a hidden vowel.
    eg. Séanchaí is pronounced séan'a'chaí.

    Just as I prefer to say fada, I'd prefer to have the Irish name for a hidden vowel.

    FYI for those who are unfamilar with hidden vowels;
    When l, n or r are followed by b, bh, ch, g (not after n), m, or mh, and is preceded by a short stressed vowel, an additional vowel is heard between them.
