    Hi all,

I just bought a lefty Fernandes Retrorocket and the two pots work backwards, i.e turn the vol up to 10 to shut it off.

Funny thing is, last year I bought a lefty U.S. Strat which is the same.
At the time I thought it was a Fender thing.

So, is it because they're lefty's or do regular strats have reversed pots as well?

Are you saying the action is reversed - if you turn it clockwise it turns down?

    Yes that's it exactly.

I'd have thought that was normal for a lefty. It's the opposite to a right handed guitar.

Me too. Isn't that normal on lefties?

nope they wiring is just done wrong, it should be the "normal" way and by normal i mean the righty way - where u turn it clockwise to turn it up, so on a lefty its counter clockwise same way but backwards, gettit???

have 5 different electrics and they've each had work done and have been wired differently which is kinda annoying really knowing different things on diff guitars....

i dont know what was goin on with my les paul, the bridge volume knob is wired and turns the correct way but acts as an overall Master volume over the 2 pups, its a lot handier, than the previes way funny neough

but i had new pups put in my rg and the tone pot was wired backwards

i have a flipped righty strat with one volume knob thats wired backwards

maybe i shud go somewhere else to get pickups done!!!
