Where to buy appliances?

Been looking at appliances (Washing machine, Dishwasher, Fridge/Freezer, Hoover), for the past few weeks in south Dublin. So far I have been to:

    Power City (Sallynoggin)
    DID Electrical (Stillorgan)
    Harvey Norman (Carrickmines)
    Currys (Carrickmines)

    Online:
    http://www.littlewoodsireland.ie/
http://www.pixmania.ie (very limited selection compard to UK site)

Harvey Norman seem to have the best prices so far, and have said they will order in what they don't have and undercut the others. However, the prices in the UK undercut them all, but no one delivers to Ireland.

Anyone have any other places to share or recommend?

You could try Trading Post which is one UK store that comes to mind that ships to ROI. To Dublin it's £100 shipping per Pallet.

Trading Post prices are very good - just looking at Fisher and Paykel fridge freezers among everything else. And if you convert at today's rates, price is even cheaper ! Wonder how reliable they are though?

I see empiredirect were used by some people http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/ and they have the models I'm looking for, anyone know if they deliver to Ireland? Website doesn't say either way.

After speaking to them, they don't do deliveries to Ireland.

Other thann trying to order in from the UK, the only thing you can do here at home is prepare a detailed list of what you want with product nos for exactness, go into shop with it and ask them for their best price for everything and then on to the next shop and so on. We can afford to be ruthless now that the economy is slowing and all shops will want the sale.
