A month or two, i've been banned for warning adverts users about an obvious chinese les paul copy, but even with facts , the seller appeared to win the case and finally got his ads removed as he was considering the comments offensive for his one off custom shop order...

well the good news is it wasn't a one off, and i managed to put my hands on a similar one, have a look below, i don't think the right person was banned
as according the to the forum rules:

    Forbidden items

What is not allowed on adverts.ie?

Basically, anything illegal is not allowed. However, there are some items which, while legal to sell, buy or own, are not permitted to be sold on this site.

    Replicas of trademarked items.
The sale of unauthorised replicas, or pirated, counterfeit, and knockoff merchandise is not permitted. For instance, replicas of Rolex watches may not be posted.

Let me get this straight, you're posting here to brag? Or are you trying to trying to bitch about Adverts.ie?

no bragging, just tryin to help in case someone on the forum has the opporunity to buy something similar, they are starting to be well spread,
and also i have to say i was a bit disppointed by the ban at the time as all i did was telling the truth, but i'm saying it again i'm sharing these information to help others,

    cheers

Perhaps a better course of action would have been to report the advert rather than posting a comment on the advert! ;)

^I havent seen the ad or the posts that caused a banning, but i've reported counterfeit guitars in the past and nothing was done, thread was left open.

This is the wrong place for discussing your issue OP, but fwiw, fair play. If a ban is what it takes to save some sucker from buying a counterfeit, so be it.

This has nothing to do with Instruments. If you wish to discuss Adverts.ie issues, please post in the Adverts Support forum.
