Gaming Cafe clearout - Galway

Xcite on the Sean Mulvoy road in Galway are clearing out. Their an internet cafe. Loads of Xbox 360s, controlers, 26" HDMI LCDs etc going at pretty good prices.

26" Beko HDMI LCD - €250
Xbox360 controlers - €30
Thats all ive looked at so im not sure on prices of other things.

TVs seem to be in perfect working order, very happy with our new one so far.

Just rang there:

360 Premiums (inc hard drive) for €150

I was talking to him and he was saying there going to try stay open for another week or so . So im giving him a deposit today and collecting the stuff next week

Sorry to here these guys are closing up. They're really sound and I had a few class nights in there playing Halo and Gears.

You'll get a perfectly good picture from an older 360 using VGA or component. Check the date of manufacture to see if you'll be covered by the RROD warranty.

I think the offered an internet cafe and console gaming, not to sure as i've never been. Will be there next thursday night for the first time to collect 2 X Xbox 360s and 2 X 26" LCD tvs, for the kingly price of €800 in total, what a deal!

The brother went in for me; he paid 40euro deposit. Don't know about the receipts tho... apparently there is also 5mths left on the Xbox live subscription. There was no more monitors left when he got there. He also bought fight night and pro evo for 50euro.

This is our second xbox360. Sold the last one and upgraded/downgraded for the wii...

They were given a receipt from the till.

Was your xbox HDMI or Components cause apparently they got the last HDMI box.

The ones i've booked are HDMI ones, but he said they didnt have many of them. Payed my €100 deposit today, only proof i have is a reciept from the bank that i lodged money into there account, but i trust them , they sound like sound guys

Sorry to be dragging up an old thread but I'm just curious if anyone had any issues with the xboxes they bought from these guys?

The one that I got has the RRoD and although it's still under Warranty the name I thought it was registered to (xCite Gaming Cafe) was incorrect and MS won't honour the Warranty on it.

Did anyone have a similar issue and if so did you find a resolution other than getting a third party to repair it?

you might get beter advice on the XBox forum, but I managed to get a repair from MS on a box that I had no idea who it was regestered to. I told them it was bought on EBay and gave a possible name. Yer man on the other end took it back and I ended up getting a replacement box from MS.
