Can't decide between offers

    Hi all,

I applied for a good few MA courses, figuring if I threw enough out there one was bound to stick. :D However now I am stuck - between Queen's and UCC. The subject is Politics and on the face of it the content of the UCC course appeals more, but I have to say on visiting the Department there during the Open Day a while back I was very disappointed: the staff representing the course didn't seem to know a whole lot about it, presumably because it's interdisciplinary rather than having a dedicated Politics Department.

I want to travel and work abroad after the MA, possibly do PhD study but I don't want to base my decisions just now on the far-flung possibility that I'll do a PhD at some point. Do you think it's better to go for the one that interests me slightly less on the basis of what I hope will be a better course and experience? And does it really matter what uni you do your MA at anyway?

    Sorry for rambling.... :)
