This shot is a friend of mine who's been out of action since December with a broken back. He had a bad hit paddling the Clare Glens but he was back in style last weekend. I've been dying to try one of these shots for ages but never got around to it. I have two images here but I think the shot with less going on looks better (in my opinion). Treasa's Kite surfing shot inspired me to give it a go. Two hours of processing and a clock that reads 6.45am - it's time for bed.

Thanks for having a gander :)

Cool photos although a bit dark, but you can't control the weather eh?

A zoom lens would be really good for that type of stuff.

First one is the best imo

The first one is easier to "read". But both are very good pictures and stitches.

Fabulous work. You captured the texture in the water so well.

I prefer the second one but both of them are great shots imo! I hope you're friends ok. Sleep well.

    Hi Kyle.

    I'm flattered.

Somewhat against the run of opinion here, I have to say I prefer the second one. I realise that compared to the first one, it's a little more cluttered but there's more of a story in it. Also, the first one may well have been a little easier but the second one demanded a monumental amount of work and it is extremely well done.

Mostly my main cribs about it relate to things just completely outside your control; namely the lighting conditions which look just ever so slightly depressing. It might just be my screen (so what's new) but I think the colours are just a little flat...maybe think about looking at that?

Pictures are fantastic though. And I'm really glad to see someone else have a shot at this.
