I am wondering where I can get prepay broadband in Ireland or the UK without having to buy a modem also. I know that 3 Ireland have a prepay modem with sim but what if I already buy an unlocked modem???

Is there any network where I can get sim only and then use it by paying prepay for access??

I read about T-Mobile offering one here
but when I was in Carphone Warehouse in Enniskillen, I asked and they said they couldnt supply a sim only package. I had to purchase the modem too

Get a 3pay sim for €9.99 in one of their stores. Then signup to one of their addons.

I dont think that works does it?
That will only allow him to use the wap access point from my understanding. I tried it on a phone before but never on a modem but from memory it lets you use the "walled garden" internet from 3

there's no such thing as a 3 walled garden anymore. I use my phone as a modem all the time. And i have an option in my3 to buy a 10 gb add on for 25 euro

I cant seem to get to the 3 home page to buy the add-on but it will browse websites but i am thinking that the browsing will be at a few euros per megabyte. Any ideas why it wont open the 3 home page for me
