I am having a problem that is driving me mad!

I want to try Ubuntu so I am using a LiveCD but when I am presented with the option of which operating system I want to use my keyboard is non repsonsive so they timer runs down and selects Windows :(

    Any ideas?

Try a PS2 Keyboard. I think your usb drivers must not be loaded at this point

Go into your BIOS (F1, F2 or DEL) at startup and change keyboard controlled by OS to controlled by BIOS.

Make sure support for USB keyboards is enabled in your BIOS.

If you've a Dell, try upgrading your BIOS as some machines had problems with using the keyboard with other USB devices plugged in at boot up.
