    does anyone else have this problem? I have a fear of dead people, I know it sounds trivial what am I scared of right? It really gets to me though as I couldnt go to my friends dads funeral for fear of having to veiw the body.

    I don't have such a fear - nor have I heard of anyone that does - but I just want to say that you could easily have gone to the funeral and not viewed the body. You don't have to do anything you don't want to.

    Dead people give me the creeps, but I'm not phobic about them. I just dont want to see them or touch them or be anywhere near them. Or catch their deadness, I suppose.

    Ok......

    I think thats completely normal to be honest. I see dead people all the time (not in the 6th sense way!) and i don't think i will ever be completely comfortable with it.....

    As Dr Indy say I don't think most of are psycholoigally comfortable around dead bodies unless your a under taker I suppose. I recently lost someone quite close. We kept the body in the house for three nights before the funeral, I slept in the same room no probs. For the the most striking thing was the final kiss on the forehead and just before we closed the coffin, and how cold the body felt. Wouldn't freak me out and I have experienced it before but at the moment its a lasting memory.

    yep ive seen about 8 bodies but it wasnt till the last two that I started to freak out. Dont know why though, I just hate the colour of their skin and the big thing is the colour of the lips.
