estimates for new central heating system ?

    Hi,

    I'm thinking of buying an approx 30-40yo 3bed mid-terrace house. There
    is gas coming into the house but there is no central heating system at
    all (seems like they used open fires to heat the house).

    Does anyone have any rough ideas how much it would cost to install
    a gas boiler, 5 large rads and maybe 2 small ones ? The house will need
    to be completly rewired also, so I'm not too worried about having to
    lift boards to run new pipes etc.

    Also if the general plumbing in the house needs to be redone, is it best
    to get the one firm to do it along with the heating or do the heating firms
    just do heating ?

    Any advice or pointers would be much appreciated.
