I don't have any gamer mates ,so I don't communicate with anyone about games that I haven't got.

How does metal gear online compare to currently similar games ?
I actually quite like mgso ,it's the most engaging and realistic one I've played so far.

u missed the boat, it had to be downloaded before the start date of the beta. have to download an update which only got to 7% in near an hour the last day so i prob wont play it anyway, not leaving my PS3 on all day to get that, plus my connection isnt the most reliable so any disconnection results in having to start again. At any rate from what ive read on here it's not meant to be great!

Shíte, I'd kept a keen eye on the PS Store to see when it'd be put up. Doesn't matter anyway, reviews of the multi-player online game are pretty bad (as kind of expected but hoped otherwise) so it'll remain at the bottom of my list of upcoming games that I've to buy.

It's quite good when you get yourself out of the COD4 mindset. There are a few niggles(the controls/aiming etc.) but these are probably taken straight from the single player game where they probably work perfectly.

I quite like it ,especially crawling under trucks with a sniper rifle:D

How does this game compare with COD4 ,I've never player a game like this before.

I like it. It's not a great game, in terms of perfect controls, balance etc, but it can be a lot of fun.

not at all. complete the single player main game and you'll have the controls/movement etc down and be ready to attack online. there are some great people but most aren't very good at all.

anyone whos played the original will know the mechanics already really, tbh auto aim doesnt really work as it didnt in the orig because someone will just headshot you while your pumping auto aim into their torse, which is good

I like the capture the frog games they can last for ages, and are good craic.

What annoys me is Sneaking Mode, when the Snake player just hides and uses the small robot to ruin my life!

Great fun, aiming is cack but I like most of the other gameplay features. Its too bad you can't use first person view mode more than just when aiming though.

Really? I find that I'm usually stuck with a team that knows what they're meant to do (find frog, kill anybody that steals the frog, defend the frog) and that the other team usually gets maybe... 1 second - haven't lost a single round of Frog Capture yet IIRC.

Yeah, I thought it was good. Not as fast-paced as Call Of Duty 4 and Warhawk though. You really need to have patience for it as I normally only average about 10 kills per game.
