Hey guys, just got 50 euro worth of game vouchers and am considering what to get. Was thinking Assasins creedor maybe army of two. both of which ive played and liked. Or should i wait for a while for better games to come out?

and before you guys say, yes i have gta 4 on order and paid for. :D

I've heard Assassin's Creed can get very repetitive, and I must say I didn't like Army of Two from what I played of it.

If you haven't got The Orange Box, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune or COD 4 (though I'm sure you have that), I'd highly recommend them. Otherwise you could wait for Metal Gear Solid 4.

yeah was thinking of waiting for metal gear, but SOOO far away :D

Might pop up to game tomorrow and see what they have to offer me.

Assassins Creed is shockingly repetitive. It's definetly more of a renter rather than one to buy. As mentioned COD4 is excellent as is Uncharted and Orange Box. If you haven't already played Oblivion that's another excellen title to pick up. Hours and hours of gameplay.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune would be my pick.

    Yeah Uncharted sure looks good.

Only problem id have is that i got the demo and found it extremly hard. i heard that the demo didnt represent the real game thou both in graphics and difficulty.

anyone clear this up for me?

While the demo may have been a little difficult the game really isn't. It's very fluid and easy to get into and the only real criticism is that it's a little short. Oh and the graphics ingame are sensational.

Uncharted is more of a rent in my opinion.

Another vote for Uncharted here (BUY not rent!)
Easily the best PS3 exclusive that I've played so far, any game collection is incomplete without it imo.

I haven't played the demo, but understand that it just dumps you into the middle of the game without a chance to get used to it. The difficulty curve of the full game eases you into things nicely

    Uncharted or Warhawk or COD4...

I know warhawk has got some flack on here lately, but I can't agree with it myself, it's probably my most played PS3 game.

Maybe Hot Shots depending on your taste :)

MGS4 isn't so far away either. Less than 2 months, it'll fly by with GTAIV to occupy you.

GTAIV will keep you going for months so it's a hard call!

i recommend avoiding assasins creed anyway. a beautiful pile of muck.

since you'll have GTA maybe get something in a sports game or gran turismo?

and yeah call of duty, uncharted, ratchet and clank are all great too. call of duty will have the most lastability of those.

GTA 4 will keep you going until MGS 4.

Is Motorstorm worth a look or is it yesterdays news?

I'll sell it for €25 inc p&p. Got it with PS3. Played it twice and didn't really like it. It does have a large following here on boards though.

Motor storm is a good off road rallying game but its not Burnout or Prologue. €25 would be a good price. (though it should be on Adverts.ie :p....)
