Payments from abroad - OK to give bank details?

I have sold items to a buyer in Hong Kong.

Is it OK to give my bank details (i.e. Account name, account number, sort code and name and address of bank) to the buyer in order to speed up payment?

I do this all the time with business clients. I'm just wondering if there's anything I should be aware of when selling online.

    Thanks.

    D.

For international payments, you'll need to give him your IBAN or Swift number. IBAN is printed on your statement, not sure about Swift. Don't give him your address, or any other sensitive information.

You can also setup the account that only payments can be made in that way no one can request the bank for withdraws from the account
