i was just looking around for a good site to buy a football jersey for a team i support ( Juventus) and i live in the west and there is no sports shop or site that sells their jerseys so i googled and came up with this site : http://www.footballshirtshopuk.com and i am wondering has anybody delt with them before? the jersey came out to be 31euro and i am suspicious because its too cheap.... they are usually 70e or so which i will gladly pay but if i ordered it from italy it could take 2-3 weeks but if i got it from the uk it would be 3-5. Just want some advice. thanks if anybody takes the time to check. cheers

    Personally, I'd avoid them.

There are many mentions of England, British Clubs and GBP, but it just didn't feel right : despite the fact that there's mis-spellings on their homepage & policy pages, and the clunky grammar of a non-native English speaker throughout ("Many people have watched the competitions in the English Premiership, the Scottish Premiership, and the European League wearing Football Shirt Shop UK shirts, tops and soccer jerseys. No customers have ever questioned the high quality of our shirts and tops, and those with kids have seen their children enthusiastically wear their own Football Shirt Shop UK child-size soccer jerseys in support for Manchester City and Manchester United, or Liverpool and Blackburn".) raises many questions, sneakily, it doesn't become apparent that you're dealing with a Thai / Hong Kong operation until deep into the investigative process.

( See : Retail orders may be dispatched by standard registered post from our South East Asia depots depending on content and volume . Sneaky. And If a new 2008 Celtic shirt shipped from Hong Kong for €30.00 turns out to be genuine, I'll eat my own mickey.)

They also require a re-stocking fee if you dont like the item, it doesn't fit, it's the wrong one, or you discover its fake...

("cancelled orders will also be subject to an administration and restocking charge. The combined total of charges deducted will amount to 25% of the cancelled order value.")

Oh, and if a final nail is required for the coffin, they recommend using Western Union. :D

Incidentally, regarding Juve shirts, cant help you on New ones, but Toffs do a nice line in retro kits for about €20 cheaper than a new icky nylon version. :D

Thanks guys, i knew there was something fishy and i did spot the western union thing too, thats probably the reason why i asked here.

so is there any legitimate sites in the UK that will sell me a juve shirt for 60-70 euro? or do i look to Juve official shop which will take much longer :(

Thanks ruu, nice site, lots of special offers on things and promotions but they seem to only have a kids version of the jersey i want :( Why is it so difficult to get their jersey? they are the 3rd most succesful team in europe in history!
