I read this on an MRI of my sister's back " Minor degenerative signal loss of the L5S1 disc......."

What is signal loss ? Does that refer to an injury or is it a problem with the scan itself ?

    Just wondering. Thanks.

It's impossible to interpret MRI findings in a setting like this.

We can't give advice on personal medical matters.

Your sister's GP/hospital doc will be able to interpret the report for you in the context of her problems.

Hope it all gets sorted for you.
