OK, This has been annoying me lately,

Where do these lads, young and old get their money from ???
Guys that prop bet continuosly etc, There is so many of them that are just high rolling gambler wannabe's it's unreal.

I was in the jackpot last week playing cash and there was these 2 young D4 head wannabe's on my table and what they were talking about was just unreal. Now it's not the first time I've heard this so hence the post.

Anyway conversation went like this, *use your best D4 accent*

names are fake btw

"Hey Fiachra, how much you stuck"

"Oh, loike I'm down €400 from playing props with Stevie"
"OMFG dude, what were you playing ???"
"We were playing In-betweenies and props, loike betting on the colour of the next taxi that would come around the corner lol it was focking mad"
"No way dude, I'm down €250 from playing pitch and toss with Giles outsoide"

I mean this is a fcuking joke man, Someone has to be losing out along the way here, whether it's parent's that give them money or guys that are geting loans or whatever, I just don't know. It's obvious that the money doesn't come from poker though cos most of them are uber shiite.

There is just so many of these idiots that think they are great high roller gamblers its unreal, they seem to have a serious lack of respect for their money, Maybe it's because they see all the "top pro's" doing this that gives them the idea's or whatever, but surely to god someone has to be suffering.

I don't know why I give a fcuk tbh, but if it was one of my kids they'd be getting a swift kick in the bollox.

A lot of money does go around in circles. I make silly prop bets all the time and in the €50 I'd lose trying to guess what song a certain lyric is from, I'd win it back in a Fussball game the following night.

Now I wouldn't consider myself to be a high-roller wannabe degenerate gambler but I see no harm in having our money go around in circles within my social circle. What comes around goes around and all that.

Prop bets are the absolute dogs bollocks mate. For one reason and one reason alone. They distract any number of players from the real poker players.

Flop A27 and you've AK but the guys are throwing chips at some guy who's called 2-7 as his prop-bet hand. They barely notice you tossing a few 25 chips into the pot and will often call without a thought.

Anything which can give you an advantage in the game has to be a good thing.
