    Hi.
I've found good offer from Apple UK Store - refurbished iMac 24 (much cheaper then in Dublin). Apple could deliver Mac to Belfast for free. Does somebody knows way to by computers from Apple UK through Belfast (or may be other way..). Apple UK doesn't deliver to Ireland :(

What about using the Irish store?

If you know someone in the North you could get it shipped to them no problem and then pick it up from them. Other than that I can't think of anything, unless you can work out a private arrangement with a courier based there or something.

To be honest I haven't tried, so I don't know. I know iTunes won't let you buy from other countries' stores but that operates separately from the Apple Store. I reckon if your delivery address for a physical product is in the North then you should be fine. Then again, maybe not. Try it and see.

Did you ring up the Apple Store here, point out that it is in the UK store you really want it then ask them nicely if you can buy it?

AFAIK, when you checkout from the Apple UK store, the country of issue for the credit card is "stuck" as UK. So, if you're using a cc issued in Rep. Ireland, then it is possible the verification of the cc details will NOT go through.

I know this because I order Apple hardware through Amazon (USA) using a non-USA cc, and the packaged shipped to the hotel. Apple Store (USA) refuses to accept non-USA cc's.

So, the guaranteed approach is to get someone with a UK address and UK-issued cc for the process to complete smoothly.

I believe this to be quite correct.

Fair enough, I had heard otherwise but had never tried it so can't confirm. I guess you'll have to find a friend up North OP.

Thanks a lot! But I thought about delivery company or something like that. Actually I need visa to travel from Ireland to UK, coz I'm not EU citizen.

    I can't order directly:
Can I ship to an address outside the UK, Northern Ireland or Isle of Man?

Due to VAT reasons, we cannot offer delivery outside the UK, Northern Ireland or Isle of Man, however you can place your order on the Apple Store for the country of your chosen delivery address.

Visit the Apple Store and select your country at the bottom of the page. For countries not currently serviced by the online Apple Store, you can find a local reseller here.

Where billing and shipping address are different, you may be asked to provide additional information/documentation before your order can be processed.

Anyway. I think that prices for current iMac models will go down soon. There are rumors about new iMacs tomorrow. All russian official resellers reduced prices for 20% last week. :)

About prices in UK and Ireland. Feel difference :)

    iMac 24", c2d 2.4, 1Gb RAM, 320Gb HDD _Refurbished_ - about 1450€ in Irish Apple store
    iMac 24", c2d 2.8 extreme, 2Gb RAM, 500Gb HDD _Refurbished_ - about 1450€ in UK Apple store

Prices in Irish store was reduced. Now difference between ROI and UK "just" 150€ (iMac 24" 2.8). I'll buy new iMac in Irish store. Thanks for help, guys!
