can i actually blow up anymore?
thats two tournaments in 1 week that i go into final 2 tables chip leader and out before final table, dang!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 277 ✭✭denashpot

finished 15th. built my stack from 4k up 22k when i got to the last 2 tables and lost it in a pot with JJ vs KK. i usually would of got away from it but my concentration was was gone. :o great turn out with 47 duh but the structure needs to be sorted.

well ye get to chose next weeks denashpot. :D

The clock was so long as I was initially expecting 20 or so runners and wanted to give value for the first tournament.

I stand by the levels as I like tournaments to be long and not to turn into a crap shoot towards the end. Half hour with 8k was a little too much for the turnout though.

If this weekly game takes off then the clock will be adjusted accordingly.

Cheers to everyone who turned up and dont forget to vote on next weeks event.

I'd like to congratulate pokerincork and the bank for an excellent tournie ! Normally poker players are complaining about not enough play now we are complaining about too much play !!

I think the only thing i'd tweek with the structure is if ye introduced an ante to generate abit more action to speed things up abit !

8000 chips 30 min blinds means that your not, or should not anyway, be under pressure if you lose the first two pots you go into !

Everyone that was there seemed to have a great night and loved the chips and saussies ! complements to the cook !:D

Here's hoping that this weekly game takes off and if poker players in cork support the excellent structure that the bank provide then it will force others to follow suit !

it was a great night alright. i think they're doing a vote on the PIC website at the mo for the structure of this friday nights event. you have 4 options.

We had 37 last friday night. We also had a charity event here on saturday and a good dollop of those guys said they'd be in friday.

    Should be good.
