tv card signal compatibility

I'm looking at getting a tv tuner for a laptop.
I'm wondering about signal compatibility. At the moment I get analogue tv signal, but that could easily change.
The signals used by tuners tend to be: analogue, dvb-c (cable), dvb-s (sattellite), dvb-t (terrestial). Is there any cross-compatibility between these? I mean an analogue tv can show a digital signal and vice-versa, although there will be depreciation of the signal quality because of the conversion.

Been reading about it. It seems that none of them are cross-compatible. Dvb-t will be available soon in ireland though so a hybrid analogue/dvb-t card would be good for anyone currently using analogue.
