Responsibililty for Road Signage/Markings

    Hi there,

    Just wondering if anyone knows who is responsible for road signage/markings... Is it the NRA or local governement? Does anyone know of any Legislation in regard to this?

    County Councils, although I think the NRA are responsible for signposting on motorways.

    If it's an "N" or "M" road (green or blue signs) it's the NRA. The local council are responsible for everything else (white signs).
