House will be back on the 28th of april where the story is going to continue on with the reveal just before the break
    the return of the b*tch

So how do people feel about the direction of season 4?

Does anyone actually like thirteen as a character (though she is very pokable) or are they waiting for cameron etc to reassume their original roles.

I actually like the new assistants except thirteen who is just boring but I would like chase and Cameron to fit in with the plot more. They really feel like they have to struggle to fit them in after the competition part of the plot was over.

anyway expect alot more threads from me come the 29th.

I was very sceptical when the old team left, but after the season so far I'd be disappointed if they came back.

I really like the new team. I thought it was fairly obvious that Thirteen and Kutner would be a part of it, but I was surprised that the last place went to Taub and "Cut-throat Bitch" was seemingly written out - it'll be interesting where she fits in now that she's dating Wilson.

Can't wait for next week, pity the season has been so stop-start between the regular scheduled break and then the writer's strike. I look forward to when I can sit back and watch the season as a whole, uninterupted.

I have to say, I adore series 4! I think if it had continued with the old team, it might have started to get slightly stale by now, I'm glad we'll never know! Loved the games idea, was so disappointed to see cut-throat bitch go, and Foreman return, I like his character and all, but he really isn't needed anymore... I'd rather see Cameron and Chase have more explanded roles...

I like thirteen, I just hope they don't try and force her into a Cameron-but-edgy-and-mysterious role like they seem to be!

I dunno I think Foreman is probably the most important character after House....yes even more so then Cuddy and Wilson. Without Foreman alot of the bouncing back and forth between House and other characters wouldnt be as dynamic, he's the middle ground between house and cuddy.

I think season 4 has been probably the weakest overall as the Foreman / Cameron / Chase trio has always been excellent as all three characters are all somewhat a nemesis for House.

But the competition element of season 4 has been fantastic.. Kutner and Taub are my two favourites in the group.. very funny and entertaining characters and actors! (Kal Penn is always excellent and Peter Jacobson was fantastic in 'The Lost Room' mini series last year.

I think we're all waiting for "the trio" to return though!

Aw no way, his character is decent enough, but when he's been demoted so far down, his dynamic with the other characters is still good, but it's painful to watch him so tacked on to almost every scene he's in...

I wouldn't say he's the second most important character either, Wilson is clearly the character with the best dynamic with House, and Foreman is raaaarely involved in that, or even with Cuddy, or anyone bar the original team members really...

I think Foreman is very important in terms of how he has developed over the seasons.

I'd agree with BlitzKrieg that he's the most important character after House. He's the most interesting by far, but Wilson's chemistry with House is un-matchable.

I love Wilson and Cuddy to bits but no Foreman is clearly the more important character, his relationship with House and other characters has been the basis for the majority of storylines outside of House himself for the first 3 seasons

You've had him put in charge of house (twice now) the near death moment with Cameron, then the whole him not wanting to be house bit.

Yes other characters have had arcs (Wilsons big one being the whole thing with tritter in season 3) But Foreman has had one in every season except 4 (which isnt finished yet)

I admit they havnt used him particulary well in season 4 so far, you could be right that they have overused him and are giving him a breather, but it would seriously weaken the series if they took him out as much as they have chase and cameron.

I still don't see how... I know he's the middle ground between House and Cuddy, but he was in that position before, and he doesn't have anymore sway on either party than he did when he was just part of the team... Dya see what I mean? I just don't see his importance as much as you guys I guess..
I'm sure I'm wrong though, I keep hearing this about Foreman's character being so important! I guess I'm just not that mad on him!

now he's the middle ground between House and Cuddy, but he was in that position before

I didnt mean his role in the hospital, I meant as a character. He has House's distaste for the majority of patients with that same cynic bite, but he's also an idealist like Cuddy where he believes in greater good etc.

agreed. the conflict between him becoming another House and staying true to the "greater good" has always been interesting. Maybe over time they'll play this out more.

I do think Wilson is a more important character though in the scheme of things. Being the closest House has to a friend in the hospital, and acting as something of a moral compass from time to time

just remember everyone, no discussing on weblinks or downloads for any of the new US episodes.

How you watched them is your business and responsibility, please don't bring it up on this forum as it could leave boards.ie liable.
