why are some sellers rude?

:mad:I am getting tired with the number of sellers on ebay who are rude for no reason. Why would they be rude to their customers, especially if you haven't been rude to them first. My latest one is this, I ordered 4 CDs from a seller in America. The next day (23rd) I recieved an email saying one of the CDs is unavailable and I should email them to let them know if I want a refund or to wait. I emailed and said I wanted a refund. The next day I got an email saying the item was posted on the 23rd. I wrote back to clarify, asking which email was right, was it unavailable or had it been posted? The seller wrote back, "UM YEAH I read your email and I JUST TOLD YOU IT WAS POSTED ON THE 23RD UM!"

Honestly, are the people they have working for them aged about 13 or something? A simple, "Sorry yes it has definitely been posted," would have sufficed.

And the most annoying thing? When they told me it was unavailable I immediately ordered from elsewhere. Now I have 2 of the same arriving!

Some people act badly because they've had a hard life, or have been mistreated...but some of them are just jerks.

Some people don't know how valuable customer service is. I always make sure to communicate professionally when I'm selling. If you're not satisfied, give negative or neutral feedback. Of course the seller won't see things your way, he'll probably just chew you out.

Wait for all your stuff to arrive then give some bad feedback, cheeky feck!

But isn't that part of the problem, if seller doesn't give Feedback until he receives it at his end? So he (or she) could give retaliation bad Feedback in return.
