    hi sorry if this isn't the right place for this post but i couldnt see where else to put it.
    the clutch went in my fiat punto two days ago and i couldn't bring it to the guy who usually fixes them cos he is in tipperary and i live in mallow so the guy who came from the breakdown assistance towed it to a garage he knows and always recommends.
    it's fixed now but they are charging me €420 - anyone i talked to told me it would be half that and now i'm wondering am i being ripped off or is that actually a realistic price?

    Dont know about the Punto, The C5 cost me €500.00 plus parts for a clutch.

    97 golf cost me 250 for clutch and fitting. alotta quotes over 300 tho

    €2000 for me :(

    Needed a new flywheel as well, which was nearly half the cost alone.
