So then, fire alarm went off, and everyone was evacuated. A bit strange, everyone crowded outside to get back in. Talked to one of the staff, she was laughing, saying that if the place exploded the glass would make bits of everyone.:p

    Anybody else here for it??

    Also, sensational thread titles ftw!!

I was hoping for a raging inferno or else a mass revolt of the people.

    Alas, neither occurred.

    *sigh*

Back to validating Traveller ethnicity so I guess. :(

I know, going by the law of averages like?? Pity it wasn't a genuine inferno, best day of college ever tbh, and not a moment to soon, our last day (excluding ex*ms)

I can't even type the word, let alone study fom them.:pac::pac::pac:

It'll be different after the revolution.

Edit: Fuck, fire alarm = perfect opportunity to "borrow" a few books for an indefinite period of time.

It's easy to do that anyway: security rarely stop anyone who causes the alarm to go off. They've never stopped me anyway (not that I've been seeping unborrowed materials out :p) any time that it's gone off: just waved me on.

It must be my innocent, honourable appearance :D

I have a book overdue by a few days, and went down to return it just as the alarm started to go off. The situation was just as Tommy Tiernan describes it; People looking around, laughing, and continuing on their business, despite the ear-piercing noise. I was just at the book return place before a security guard suddenly realised that indeed, there was a fire alarm, and everybody had to evacuate.

Hey, us nerds have feelings- hey, hold on! No! I just had an essay to finish writing.:(

Ya I was just thinking the same thing! Then again since her face was plastered up on posters everywhere for a week or 2 she is bound to be more recognisable than your average boardsie:D I would be willing to bet that I could dance half naked on a bar stool in the Stables and nobody would realise it was me!

Yeah, I sensed that all right, but chose not to point it out. Thanks. Thanks for making it obvious. :p

My posters weren't 'everywhere'... I just put them in key places (namely the C1 corridor and the Stables) to give that illusion :) And my face wasn't that recognisable on them; it was...'artistic'... ;)

And anyway, I'd recognise you... And even if I didn't I'd be over feckin' pulling you down and give you the Bluedolphin Angry Face Grrrr ;)

Someone had to! Did your posters say "Bluedolphin is watching YOU!!!!"?

Some day there'll be a "Today I saw..." thread, just for all the stalkers out there, to report on who they saw...
