    Hi folks,

Just got my first SLR, Canon Rebel Xti along with ef 50mm Compact Macro and 75-300mm zoom.

I did photography for a year in college YEARS ago- but always enjoyed it...
So was thinking about maybe some of the online courses, my sis did one and thought it was great, she's taken some super shots.

    Any thoughts or recommendations?!

    Cheers!
    :p

I just got "Understanding Exposure" in the post two days ago, and have been reading through it. It's excellend and is widely regarded as one of the fundamental books to have in any photographers library.

It basically introduces the idea of exposure, what settings achieve what results, without wading into all the details. A good starting/intermediate book.

Otherwise then that, just go out and take photos and get frustrated!
