DVD drive being a pain

    My computer only has one disc drive but lately it's been giving me grief.

    I bought a few games and none of them are installing properly. Some other games worked fine as they had been installed before but needed to be reinstalled, they would now no longer install and would freeze halfway through installation. Similar problems occur with new games bought.

    My device manager lists no problems with my drive and i tried uninstalling the disc drive but to no avail.

    You cold try using a cleaning disc on it but really & truly, drives are so cheap now you could pick up a new one for about 25 bucks or so on Komplett & save yourself a heap of grief ;)
