Are you looking for an irish beach holiday or outside of Ireland? Beach holidays in Ireland are pretty much sun-burn free! There are beautiful beaches all around the coast but for quiet, almost empty beaches you can't beat the northwest - from Mayo all around to the Inishowen Peninsula (avoiding the obvious 'resort' towns). Achill Island is a fabulous family-beach holiday destination, particularly if you rent a house or cottage.

in ireland, generally the beaches are cold...and i do not know about sandy beaches..
getting into water is difficult as the water is cold too....

i dont want 30+ degrees but would love to lie down on a beachside bench n watch kids play in the sand..

hope you are getting what i mean
