Nice, bought a G&L L2000 myself recently and it's great. The Tribute range are great value for money

Yep, must agree, they are great value for money, play really nice, kicks the ass out of anything in the price range.

Yeah, I seem to have an attraction for G&L's. I also have a Tribute L2000 which I'll never part with. Did you buy yours here in Ireland ?

ah yeah, but I think the pictures they post look very artificial. It's nice to see a more realistic picture. :)

Yea picked it up in a place down in Carlow, it was fairly reasonably priced at the time and I kind of fell in love with it after playing it a few times. It's a rock solid and great sounding bass and at the moment its getting a lot more use than my Fender Aerodyne.

That's a sweet looking bass. I quite like the natural wood finish on the body. Good luck with it!

You were luckey. There are not many outlets in Ireland (only one in Dublin AFAIK ) selling G&L's, and if you do find one it'll be way overpriced - like everything else here  I got the L2000 in Dublin about two years ago for €775. Not too bad I suppose, considering you can bring it straight home with no shipping worries.

Thanks to all who responded to my post. :)

Got it for €730 in a place called Ad-Lib. They had quite a few G&L all Tributes.
