I have Sky+ box in my sitting room, and I'm putting a new TV in my kitchen. If I bought a secondhand sky box just to get the FTA channels, would I also be able to use the card from the existing box in it? I'm not really interested in paying for multiroom, but it might be handy to be able to watch RTE etc occassionally on the new TV.

Each card is paired with a particular box. It may work with some channels but not all of them.

Hi I recently purchased a Lidl satellite system and have set it up. The signal Intensity I am receiving is at 92% and the signal Quality is at best 73% I would like to know what to do to get a better quality signal as I cant receive BBC 24 news and ITV2 is weak. Also when it rins as it did last night most of the signals went weak. Can anyone help Thank you

If that's the Lidl portable/camping system, then you must expect poor performance in rain, due to the small size of the dish. Lidl satellite issues are handled in another thread - you shouldn't hijack this thread which is about moving Sky cards between boxes.

Correct these are premium channels movies and sports etc other normal channels should work fine!
