Increase in neteller withdrawal fees?

Looks like didn't get the memo. Just went to make a withdrawal to my bank account and neteller want to charge me €7.50.

when did you last withdraw?

according to this link €7.50 is the charge but this is the first time I've been asked to pay it.

why don't u just get a wire from your poker site. from what i remember wires from party are free once you're at aces level, i think.

I'm on Full tilt at the the moment and from experience they are slow. Anyway I try to keep as much of my roll on neteller in euro (so it doesn't doesn't decrease in value with the $) and just make my withdrawals from there.

It's just easier plus when I'm looking for a loan/mortgage the bank manager isn't going to see my earnings coming from gambling sites but simply from an offshore account.

made the withdrawal. The fee wasn't taken from my account at all. Strange.

If you have a Euro Neteller account do you get charged a % fee when depositing Dollars onto a Poker site?
I have a Dollar Neteller account and its costing me a fortune in conversion fees when I transfer to my Euro Bank account.

Withdrew from Party last week and got pretty much the exact rate. Not sure about FT.

EDIT. Actually sorry PArty don't count as my account is in € there but with stars there's definitely no extra fee.

I would strongly advise you from doing this. Your neteller account should be in the same currency as your poker accounts. If your poker accounts are in euro then go ahead and change.

If you do change and your poker accounts are in dollars , you will have to pay currency conversion charges on every transaction to and from the poker sites. If you leave neteller in dollars , you will only get this charge once when you withdraw and can make free transfers to and from the poker sites

Yes all my poker accounts are Dollars. Thats why I was asking whether I would have to pay conversion fees when depositing/withdrawing to and from poker accounts.
A Dollar cheque would be ideal for me as I have a contact in my Bank who can convert it at minimal cost. I tried to withdraw from Neteller by cheque and they basically told me it would take around a month and to use the convenient (and very expensive) Bank withdrawl method instead.
All the poker sites seem to only allow you to withdraw by the same means you deposited so a cheque is out of the question.

Anyway I feel i've hijacked this thread now but it proves that Poker players have no problem shippin thousands into pots everyday but are as stingey as everyone else in the end
