Some members of Dublin Fire Brigade recieved their Diplomas in Emergency Medical Technology from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland on Monday.

Congratulations to all involved, both students and Instructors, and well done on completing this challenging course.

How much training is involved in this? What can they do on the side off the street compared to previous years or is this standard now?

Its standard now across the brigade. All staff are currently being upskilled to maintain their Paramedic level. This includes a wider range of medications, advanced airways etc.
