    hoping some one out there may be able to help - i am trying to play/transfer a audio book on to my mp3 player but it is in a format that is not recognised on either my player , realplayer or windows media
    it is showing as a M4B File and is showing as a window media player icon - is there any way to convert it to mp3 file

    M4B is a form of copy protected AAC (probably bought from the itunes store)... it'll work in itunes, so from there you can burn it to cd and re rip it as mp3 to play it on any other device.
