Can anyone recommend the best travel guide to use (lonely planet, rough guide etc)?

Or better yet anyone have one they would sell me? PM me if you do

Footprint has a new 2008 edition out. I bought this one a while ago as they list a lot of less mainstream places that Lonely Planet covers. I also find they give more information.

Look on Amazon for second hand ones. You can pick them up fairly cheap from there.

Footprints is the only way to go for South America. Found the LP pretty poor in comparison. More accommodation, eating, travel tips etc. Enjoy!
