I had seen some shots using a Lastolite Hi-Lite and loved the look off it and I got one not too long ago. Superbly made and perfect for taking all kind of shots at clients premises/houses. Goes up in about 3-4 minutes and I have a set of Elinchrom D-Lite 4's to go with it. I have it set up with one of the D-Lites in the Hi-Lite and then it doesnt matter how close people get to the background, also you can use it as a huge softbox too :) anyway just thought I would share in case anybody was thinking this product. I took a few shots after a job on Saturday and here they are, mostly product shots at home testing it.

Regarding that cosmetic bottle, Keith, according to a quick Google search it's supposed to:

    • Work little miracles on your skin and just watch it look younger day by day
    • Reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles by up to 50% in just 4 weeks
    • Contains concentrated pro-retinol anti-aging complex to boost elasticity and balance skin tone
    • Powerful serum leaves skin looking luminous and more youthful

So, take us out of our suspense and post some before and after shots so that we can see how, er, "luminous and more youthful" you now look.

The Hi-Lite cost approx €400 including vinyl train and the d-lite 4 was €700. Everything assembles in about 8-10 minutes and back in bags in around the same. Working out perfect for all jobs so far.

I was looking at getting one of these, but one thing that seems to be the problem is the 'train' were it attachs to the Hi Lite, you can see were it mereges, it's not seemless like a paper roll or have you noticed this.

I have noticed this digitalage but if it just needs careful planning joining the two and you dont really see it, for the portability of it I can live with it.

Stephen, I got it from Warehouse express and its the 6x7, a friend bought a load of gear and I went in on the order too and we organised a discount, I think the toal between the two of us was around €12000. It ended up the hilite and train cost €400.
