SMS Widgets

Just wondering what SMS widgets - if any - you all use to avail of your operators free web text service.

I ask because I've recently started using WebSMS which for some reason gives a Server Error on Vodafone but works fine on O2.

I'd like to avail of my Vodafone service and I'm also looking for a simple widget for my kids' Mac. Anyone know of a widget that works with Vodafone or do they have a way to block this kind of use ?

    TIA

    ZEN

I'm using JSMS, it's not a widget but it works well. The problem with these things is that the mobile phone companies are constantly changing their web text systems, making apps like this incompatible and needing an update. You may find WebSMS will suddenly start working on Vodafone once updated, although if it's not developed by an Irish person that's less likely (then again, Vodafone may have the same system on all their international sites). JSMS is developed by Irish people so they're constantly updating it to work with the networks here.

JSMS ? I remember trying that one about 7 or 8 months ago and thought it looked very amateurish plus it wouldn't work for me on Vodafone. Glad to see it's much improved now and works too !!

I'd still like to get WebSMS functioning properly so if anyone has successfully sent a text with it via Vodafone let me know please.

It still doesn't feel like a native Mac app by any means. That said, it's in constant development, and works (at least on Meteor, I've no way of testing Vodafone I'm afraid).
