Do many people still play PS2 games on their PS3's?

I have been playing a lot of Conflict Desert Storm II and Colin McRae Rally 04. Colin McRae 04 especially plays great on the PS3 and over the last few weeks, I have played it more than any other games including PS3 games.

some of the reviews have said that the fighting is a little bit repetitive, but it's got a lot of good reviews aside from that one point. a lot of people seem to think it's perfect, so it might well be worth a lash.

are sony still keeping an updated list of what ps2 games work with which versions of the ps3?

Just ordered Odin Sphere now, it'd better not be rubbish like the rest of the games that Retr0gamer likes....

Uh-oh, It's a bit of an acquired taste unless you are into your RPGs. It's also a very long game that gets a tad repetitive when you have to level up for the final book.

Why won't you buy Gradius V which you can't fail to like instead of the niche games I recommend :)

Dragon Quest VIII looks fantastic on PS3, the graphics suit being upscaled really well so you wouldn't tell it was a last gen game.

I haven't played Odin Sphere, I didn't realise it was out in Europe already, I'll have to look into that.

I already have, but kind of pushed it to the back of my "to play" pile for some reason...
For the sake of €25 I might as well give Odin Sphere a shot, I've got a bit of a thirst for RPGs after playing Lost Odyssey...

Yes it holds up well unlike MGS3 which regularly crashes.

GTA:SA is worth a shot on the PS3 also it's keeping me ready for the new GTA.
