Here's a quick application I wrote between yesterday and today which translates into past, present and future tenses, including irregular, short and long verbs. Would make a handy verb reference guide. You'll need flash to load it.

Nope, doesn't require a connection to the interweb once you download it. You can save it on your machine as a standalone flash app.

Should work on any operating system with flash installed.

Ronny - I hadn't thought of it. I really just wanted to create a quick reference guide for those in need of a verb verbs as gaeilge.

Also, if anyone spots any errors, let me know.

That site is looking fairly good. What exactly are you planning to use it for?

Gaelix.org: Are you behind this too? (You have a link to it on your site). If so, well done, it's a great idea and could be a fantastic resource. You might want to add the 'lanugage pack' for windows xp to the list.

I'm still learning gaeilge Ronny. For me, Cairde is a personal project to help me improve my Irish. Goibhniu is giving me a hand with the backend translations. He runs gaelix.org too, which is why I linked him. I figure if I work as gaeilge every day, it will help improve my own Irish. I want Cairde as a community and resource centre for people who want to meet and speak Irish, or organise trips, events, meetings and such. The site isn't finished just yet - Still working on it, but I hope to have it open within a week. It's not a one man project. A few of us are involved. I created the design and styles for the community portal along with some scripting. Goibhniu is doing most of the translation stuff.

Pop into the chatroom anytime! We're always in there. Jesjes and purplefistmixer from on here idle in there also.

Sorry, just a small update.

I've been working on a larger application with added tenses - Just thought I'd post a screenshot of my work so far, still a good bit of work to do - but the backend and event handling is all complete. It's coded in Java, so can be used as a standalone application, instead of a flash one.
