I know this was only a new course in 2007, looks interesting though. I'm in 5th year and was considering putting it down on my CAO for next year.

Can anyone who's doing the course, or knows someone that's doing it tell be a bit about it; and what they think of the course in general?

    Thanks muchly!

it's not a new course exactly, they renamed the course "Languages for International Communication" is all. 1st year is ok, the subjects are all pretty waffly sorts.it's the languages part that is harder, as they really don't give you an awful lot of hours if you are taking a language ab initio (as in from the beginning). 2nd year, you have a compulsory class called "EU Politics and Policy" which is bizarrely a 3rd year International Relations course which I reckon they needed to fill so they threw us in there. It was the bane of my life and the lecturer is an unhelpful wagon. Having said that, getting through it all to make way for your Erasmus year is really worth it!
