just a quick one i was looking at getting a new battery and seen there are loads of different voltages and currents available

i am wondering does it matter which you use??

i gather that the wrong voltage will fry the motor but what about the current??

also what is good make of battery to buy??

8.4v is fine for an M4, a 9.6v will increase the rate of fire and might not fit in the gun without modification. Firefox are a pretty good brand. Also the higher the Mah rating on the battery the longer it will last. Theres a few here -

would there be any physical difference between the size of a 1500mah and a 1100mah battery i have a peq box for the battery so it would have to fit that...

As long as they are both the same "style" there both the same size, like these two mini types.

Never had a peq box but id imagine mini types will fit in it.

this is not true cell can very in size depend in there make and so forth it not normal massive but can make a difference if you trying to get that biggest battery you can into a peq or trying to fit the biggest mah battery into a ak :) i would go with a make like Intellect, i;ve never been a fan of firefox i find they never hold a charge as well as others and normal there mah tops out at 300 -400 less than advertised, i got a number of stick battery's by firefox 1400mha and they all would only charge up to around 900 -1000 mah at best even after a number of slow charge and discharge cycles.

Used to say that, not anymore. 2 died, and 2 fell apart due to poor build quality, still got one working :) They are nothing compared to ELITE's.

One of the best cells on the market, easy.
