Was there last summer. I probably won't be back though. Wasn't my cup of tea.

Food is awful - I mean pure tripe. Lovely Indian restaurant down near the Heineken pub - we ate there for the last 3 nights of our hol coz the rest of the places were atrocious.

Drinks are watered down to nothing. They do a happy hour where they give you two cocktails for a fiver and there's nowt in either drink. Stick to the beers is my tip.

People go on about 50c beers and I didn't see them. I reckon in most places you pay about half of Dublin prices for food and drink. Decent dinner for 2 was €40/€50 and a pint and a glass of wine would be €5/6

Nightclubs are ok. Nothing to write home about

People are friendly enough but you get the impression they'd steal the eye out of your head if they got a chance.

    Where are you staying?

Have been to Bulgaria often in the last 2 years.. Would not be in Sunny Beach too often right enough but from when i have been there drink are still very cheap and i would find the food ok and i am a fussy eater..stay away from the frontline bars and restuarants, go inwards a bit and the prices come down.. Place called Yanni,s is good, condor is alright too..(these are restuarants) Where i am local vodka and whiskey is 50 cents a measure, they just pour it in until you tell them to stop:). Brand drinks they do measure, there about €1.50..
Full of eastern block women in bulgarian resorts, who seem to have been poured into their jeans when wearing them:D there gorgeous..
I think yez will enjoy it, would love to turn back the clock and go there with the mates

Plenty of english and Irish there too.. Also if going anywhere in a taxi, make sure ye settle price before ye get in or they will charge ye a fortune .. Also the way we nod our head for "yes" and "no" is the opposite to the way bulgarians do it:confused:
    I am 99% yez will have a ball..enjoy
