I'm trying to decide wether to install vista on my laptop. It came with XP PRO and Vista Business and I've been running XP since I got it. I will be upgrading to 2 gigs of ram anyway. Would Vista run ok on this machine?

Hearing good things about vista the past few weeks, wasn't sure the machine would be up to it though. Installed it and it's going really well

Well a lot of the issues with Vista have been caused by drivers not being available - do your homework and check that your components and peripherals won't cause you issues. I would recommend 2GB minimum to run it comfortably.

DO NOT UPGRADE - do a clean install.
