how about this becoming a sticky at some stage , a thread telling your pc problems and how they were resolved (please change the title as nessessary), it may help others if they have a problem ?

ok last night i was repairing a laptop for a friend, it kept powering down, so i ran it in the fridge :) and it stayed working , took it apart and the heat sink grills were clogged with hair and gunk, cleaned them and laptop is as good as new (toshiba satellite pro a35)

Wouldn't work, it's far easier to search for a thread in forum with VB then it is to search for a post within a thread. It would just get too messy.

valid point but it would make interesting reading plus something may stick in someones mind for future reference

Well I'm not going to make it a sticky, this whole forum is made up of pc problems and (hopefully) their solutions!

All thoughts are welcome :D. Just don't expect all of them to accepted! ;)

Generally what we do is if we find there is a query that repeatedly comes up we add it to the FAQ.
