my thinking that barca with another shock draw at home the weekend 0.0
    to a complete sh---te team
and the club realisticly can only win silverware in the champions leauge.
draw im backing. messi deco not fully fit
and henry cant sniff out a goal to save his life .
liverpool game way to hard to call.
chelsea boring 1 nil specialists but will be up for this.
but having said that . the prem leauge is possible too so any injurys would be a cruel blow to man u v chelsea game.
    draw both games i think

    Saw that too.
    Backin 1-0 @ 9-2 and 2-0 at 17-2 €20 each
If it finishes 0-0 i get my money back
Just cant see chelsea scoring (kiss of death i know!)

What were the odds for 0-0. I'd say unders is a bone fide certainty as well

Those are shocking odds for 1-0 and 2-0, on betfair:
    1-0 is roughly 11/2
    2-0 is roughly 23/2

    Liverpool v's Chelsea - Draw
Barca v's Man Utd - Man Utd
Bayern v's St Petersburg - Bayern
    Rangers v's Fiorentina - Rangers

    PPP giving 29/1

Go no goalscorer instead of 0-0 as OG don't count. Gives you a little extra insurance

Have gone for Draw/Liverpool at 4/1.. Think it will be very tight early and pool nick one in the second half.. Have Torres to score in 90 and pool to win @ 13/5..

Once again I fail to take the plunge. I predicted a 1-1 draw at the weekend but didn't fancy the risk. I'm tempted to do the same for tonight's game now but I know it'll go tits up.

You think 1-1 Xavi yeah? I thin kthis is almost impossible to call. Barca are too unpredictable, and United are a bit iffy atm. If all went to form, I'd nearly go for United to win 1-0 but with the firepower Braca have they could easily score a number of goals.

I don't know will I bother with my scorecasting, that has worked so well with United recently, for this one.

Any team news of any note?

To be honest, I'd expect United to play how they did in Rome...tight football, attacking on the break, hoping not to concede and nick an away goal! They were lucky against Roma to get 2, I wouldn't be surprised if this finished 0-0,1-1 or 1-0 to either side! If United go for the kill, I could see them scoring 2 or 3, but I think they'll be more reserved!

I can see a 1-1 alright. United play more conservatively away from home but as seen in the Roma game, Ronaldo will cause havoc if up front on his own. Plus Roma's defence is probably better than Barca's.

Barca play too much of an attacking style NOT to socre, especially with Messi back in the side.

On the balance of things, and if I was to stick my neck out, I'd say 1-1 with United to win 2-0 in the second leg (as much as I hate to admit it).

Can't wait for it lads. Might throw down under 2.5 goals.

Come on UTD, here's hoping for UTD V Pool final.

Backed a draw at half time at 10-11.
Can see the first half being cagey but to be honest this is one hard game to predict.
Heres hoping for 0-0 at half time then all hell breaking loose in the 2nd half! :D

Fergie has put out a proper side. I think he's going for the kill.

    i can see a high scoring game,utd to win 3-2 at 35-1,worth a fiver.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,080 ✭✭✭kenco

Dont know who is going to win this one but hoping its going to be an open game and therefore have gone for over 2.5 goals, 6/5 with PP

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,494 ✭✭✭m.j.w

Tempted to put 100 on Ronaldo 1st goal scorer 7.6 but dont think i will. Think he will be well for this match to prove he can do it on the big nights. Will probably go for over 2.5 goals at 2.36. Over 1.5 goals is 1.45, seems like free money there.

Went with 0-0 and 0-1 Man Utd. Both were at 6/1. There was value here lads. I know hindsight an all. Ashamed to say ony had 2.50 Eur on each.

Utd were very lucky lads, hopefully do it in Old Trafford. Bookies were ****ting themselves with Ronaldo's peno. 6/1!

    Outstanding stuff.
    Nice little earner.
Threw the winnings on under 2.5 at full time for a nice profit of E140.

So you backed 0-0 at half time and at half time backed under 2.5?

What was your original stake? Did you keep that or use it for under 2.5?

    Well done, €140 is nice!

    Barca/Pool to win 12/1
    Utd/Chelsea to win 4/1
