Wall Hung Electric Fire

Hey,

Wow these things are expensive!!! Does anyone know where to buy these cheap?

I had a look in some shops here, they would be around €900. I can find the same fire in England for £375 (about €540)!!! I'm hoping there would be somewhere reasonable in Ireland!

I had a look round online and the prices at the moment are reflecting the fact that they are not in season.

If you can wait till after the summer, you'll get a better selection in the likes of www.homebase.ie or www.arro.ie.

My brother bought one in ASDA in September last year, around £200, and its great. http://direct.tesco.com/q/s/search.heating.aspx Tesco UK have a few here that are good prices, but again I'd try to wait for a better selection later in the year.

Mind you a cheap flight, Ryanair have some free flights this week, over and back in the same day, you'd still save alot!


EDIT: Have a look at three at the bottom of this page, they may be available in the Irish stores.

Thanks for that, I went into B&Q today and they had a nice one for €700 which I can get my dad to go in and get an OAP discount of 10%. I dont think he likes flashing the age card though!
